Jasmin is a dual-qualified English and German Solicitor who has specialized in marine insurance law since 1997. She studied law in Hamburg and maritime law in Southampton, gaining experience in international law firms in Hamburg and London.

In 2002, she moved to Dubai and worked as legal counsel for a leading marine insurance broker, where she developed a robust network in the maritime community and handled various marine insurance claims.

In 2005, Jasmin founded Fichte & Co LLC, which has grown into one of the largest full-service law firms in the Middle East. She represents a diverse range of clients, publishes articles on marine insurance and shipping law, and collaborates with the UAE Federal Transport Authority and the Dubai Government.

Jasmin is also a founding member of the Maritime Law Association (UAE) NPIO “EMLA,” representing the UAE in the Comité Maritime International (CMI), earning recognition as a leading expert consistently ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers Global.

Saif Al Mazrouei is the CEO of the Ports Cluster at AD Ports Group. In his role he oversees more than 25 ports and terminals in the world. He is responsible for spearheading all port functions and operations including organisation, direction, and coordination.

With over twenty years of experience in ports and across shipping and retail industries, Al Mazrouei is recognised for his ability to effectively manage all container terminal operations, in terms of planning, technical engineering and HSE. He formerly held the role of Chief Operating Officer at Khalifa Port Container Terminal leading the successful operations of the organisation.

Al Mazrouei joined Abu Dhabi Terminal in 2012 as Execution Manager for the day-to-day operations at the container terminal. Previously he served as a Board Director and Community Relations and Communications Director, at Al Habtoor Group. Prior to these appointments, he handled various roles at the Union Cooperative Society and DP World. In 2018, the Singaporean Foreign Affairs Ministry honored him as one of the leaders of global port operations, and was invited to attend the 8th Annual Naval Leaders Program in Singapore.

Al Mazrouei holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A), majoring in Geography from Beirut Arab University, Lebanon.

Terje Neraas leads Business Development at International Maritime Industries (IMI), the Kingdom’s new maritime endeavor, which will be the largest shipyard in the MENA region. Mr Neraas’ mandate is to support the commercial growth of IMI, as it becomes operational as a key driver in Saudi Arabia’s maritime efforts, as defined in Vision 2030. He will share some of his knowledge, experience and insights about what IMI means to the Kingdom and the wider regional and global maritime industry. Mr Neraas holds a BSc in Naval Architecture from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and has more than 35 years of maritime experience. He has worked in the ship- and rig-building, shipowner and rig design sectors, and has held senior leadership and CEO roles in Europe and Asia. He also has served on numerous boards of directors for leading shipyards and service companies. In addition to his role at IMI, Mr Neraas also is currently a board member of the National Shipbuilding Industry Company (NSIC), a joint venture between IMI and Zamil Group, which is focused on newbuilding and maintenance and repair of Offshore Service Vessels.

Dr. Ibrahim Behairy is the Manager of Global Sustainability at ABS Based in Dubai, UAE

Dr. Behairy is a distinguished Marine Engineer with over 35 years of experience in the industry, during which he has received numerous awards and accolades.

Prior to ABS, Dr. Behairy was the Managing Director for the Middle East at WinGD

He began his career as a Marine Engineer and later joined Wartsila, where he spent over 8 years at their headquarters in Switzerland before relocating to their office in the U.A.E. He has been residing in the U.A.E. for over 10 years.

Dr. Behairy is widely respected for his significant contributions to the Marine Industry, as well as his impact on the U.A.E. and the entire GCC region.

Capt. Anwar has a successful and versatile career within the maritime industry spread across a period over two and a half decades.

Proficient in developing policies, upholding service standards, planning & implementing effective control measures for safe and efficient operation, project management, auditing, risk management, compliance, internal controls, crisis management, business continuity, incident investigation, OCIMF TMSA/SIRE marine vetting.

Capt. Anwar started his career at sea in 1997 part of Saudi Aramco’s College Degree Program for non-employees (CDPNE) and qualified as OOW in 2002. He joined Vela International Marine Ltd sailing on ULCC, VLCC and product tankers until late 2014.

In early 2015, he joined Aramco Trading Company (ATC), the trading arm of Saudi Aramco and the lead premier trading company within the middle east establishing the Marine Quality Assurance department.

In January 2020, Capt. Anwar returned to Bahri Ship Management as company DPA and heading the HSEQ department. Finally, he was appointed as Bahri Vice President of Sustainability & GRC effectively from 1st of September 2024.

Capt. Anwar graduated from Warsash Maritime Academy. A certified UK Master Mariner and holding a degree in Marine Operation from Southampton Solent University.

He is an approved certificate of competency oral examiner for merchant marine deck officers for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Transport General Authority, assessing and qualifying young Saudis starting their career at sea. Vineet Bakshi is a distinguished professional in logistics and supply chain management, currently holding the position of Regional Head of Logistics at Fluor. Ali Shehab is a maritime professional actively serving the maritime industry since the past 38 years. He is an ex seagoing Marine Chief Engineer who started his carrier in the 1985 at South Tyneside College (UK) as marine engineer cadet with Kuwait Oil Tanker Company the National Maritime Transportation arm of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), and to become the company Acting CEO in 2018 and after 32 years of service. During the said period, he served in various managerial positions of the Company, including 7+ years as Deputy Chief Executive Officer Fleet Operations where he oversaw KOTC’s Oil Tanker Fleet Operations, Marine Agency, and the main Gas Filling Branches that supply domestic and industrial LPG to the State of Kuwait. In Feb 2021, he completed almost 36 years of service with Kuwait oil Tanker Company, after which he retired from that position and the company.

Presently, he is the DNV Global Director of Special Projects & Services - Maritime, where his role to streamline the regional and global ongoing projects and services, as well as, development of market share and strengthen the position of DNV in the Maritime and Oil & Gas Industries. Following university Killen continued his career as a graduate engineer for ALSTOM Power and then Commercial Director for ALE Heavylift. Developing his experience and career working on major heavylift & modular projects for the power, oil and gas and renewables sector across in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia.

Dr Abdul Rahim is the Chief Maritime Strategy & Innovation Officer, at Lila Global, Dubai. Prior to this, he was a Corporate Officer, and the Managing Director, Europe and Africa, of ClassNK based in London. He has been with ClassNK for more than 3 decades, serving long stints in various roles in Tokyo, Singapore, London, Mumbai and Dubai. He also held the position of Chairman of NAPA Group, Finland.

Dr Rahim has a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and Ship Building from Cochin University of Science and Technology, and Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Ship Structures from Hiroshima University. Ms. Sindhu Dasan is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of Royal Institution of Naval Architects (FRINA), with Twenty-eight years’ experience in the Marine, Offshore, Oil and Gas and Shipbuilding industry with experience in Module/ Heavy lift/ Over dimensional cargo movements, Marine Warranty Surveys, Offshore operations, Ship design & boat building.

Ms. Dasan had worked previously with Abu Dhabi Ship Building, Noble Denton, Petrofac and currently Project Manager-Logistics with NMDC Energy on a prestigious Project in Abu Dhabi.

Alan Wang joined McDermott International Inc. in 2021 as Global SME for DP Floatovers and Chief Marine Operations Specialist and had worked as a naval architect for COOEC, KBR, Noble Denton, and ABS with over 30 years’ experience in design and installation of offshore platforms and marine vessels. Specialized in various floatover installations, jacket launch and installations, FPSO hookups and mooring system installations, etc.

Alan Wang earned a B.S. in naval architecture from Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, a M.S. in ocean engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, a Ph.D. in naval architecture and marine engineering from the University of Michigan.

Capt. Cai Liancai holds the position of Deputy General Manager at COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers Co., Ltd. He is an experienced and seasoned senior captain, with nearly 20 years of seafaring experience in semi-submersible and heavy lift vessels. He has played a crucial and pivotal leadership role in 23 documented offshore DP float-over installations for Oil & Gas platforms and wind farm HVDC platforms across the globe. His contributions have significantly enhanced COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers' service capabilities, thereby providing the industry with superior solutions.

In collaboration with his team, Capt. Cai provides technical support for semi-submersible vessels, multi-purpose vessels, and heavy lifting vessels. Under his astute leadership, COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers has developed its semi-submersible fleet into one of the most prosperous fleets on a global scale. His team has successfully accomplished a diverse range of challenging projects in the industry, such as the transportation of Ferry vessels for the Brazil Olympic Games, and the transportation of the DANA FPSO which has a weight of up to 31,000 tons. COSCO is currently responsible for the execution of the Marjan DP float-over project, which includes 6 offshore platforms, 4 of which have already been installed successfully.

Zu Yan is principal engineer in DNV and has been responsible for multiple floatover projects including DP floatover and conventional mooring approach. He also delivered advisory related to offshore structures (both oil/gas and renewable) for couple of years, with a focus on naval architecture, structural analysis, hydrodynamics and mooring systems.

Zu Yan also spent 7 years with EPCIC contractor and ship design company, most recently in charge of AiP design for a 15MW floating wind turbine floater which is approved by both DNV and BV.

Zu Yan earned a master’s degree from National University of Singapore and dual bachelor degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

Lin Weinan, the Project Management Team Leader of the Semi-submersible Fleet from COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers Co., Ltd. Starting as a Naval Architect, he cultivated his capabilities and accumulated experiences in Marine Technology, Project Management, and DP Float-over within the semi-submersible domain. As the leader, along with his team, he accomplished various major projects, such as the Jacket Transportation of Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm Project, the Module Transportation of Canada LNG Project, the Six-Topsides Float-over of Marjan PK1 Project, and so on. The successes of these large-scale projects have propelled COSCO Shipping's semi-submersible business to a leading position. Beyond project management, he is also involved in business development. Together with the commercial and technical teams, he assisted the company in winning a wide range of T&I projects using the DP float-over method, including the most sought-after 2GW HVDC topside in the European and Mainland Chinese offshore wind markets, as well as the O&G topsides in the Middle East market.

Sun Hao is currently the assistant to the general manager of Guangzhou COSCO SHIPPING Marine Technical Engineering Co., Ltd. and also serves as the project manager of the Marjan PK1 project for the transportation and installation.

Sun Hao has been engaged in the research of semi - submersible vessel Marine Engineering and DP floatoer Operation, as well as project execution for 10 years. He has successively held positions such as project engineer for the Malaysia KBB DP2 float-over project, deputy project manager for the Malaysia Bergarding and Boraina projects, project execution manager for the UAE NASR project, project manager for the German Tennet HVDC Borwin3 project, and project execution manager for the Saudi Aramco Hasbah project. At present, he is the project manager for the transportation and installation of the Saudi Aramco Marjan PK1 project.

Dr. Yuan Meng currently holds the position of Deputy General Manager in the Marine Technology Division at COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers Co., Ltd. He has accumulated over 14 years of experience in the offshore industry, specializing in heavy transportation and float-over technologies.

With a long-term focus on the technical management of semi-submersible vessels, Dr. Yuan has participated in more than 15 float-over installation projects, thereby amassing considerable experience in design, operations, and logistics management. He has led his team to complete numerous high-quality technical tasks for several international logistic management projects, including the transport engineering design for over 200 large modules and more than 100 large wind turbine jacket foundations.

He has taken efforts to apply intelligent technologies to the shipping industry, thereby plays a significant role in the digital transformation of COSCO Shipping Specialized. In collaboration with industry partners, he has introduced various innovative technologies into DP float-over, such as VR and AR technologies for DPO training and trials, as well as digital twin solutions for marine operations.

Captain Mohamed Al Ali is the Senior Vice President, Operations (Offshore Logistics) at ADNOC L&S. In his current role at ADNOC L&S, he oversees the commercial logistics and operational activities of the ports, offshore supply and support fleet to provide end to end Offshore Logistics Solution to the customers including Warehousing, Material Handling, Port and Offshore Supply Operations.

He has over 29 years of successful experience in oil and gas and shipping. He started his career as a deck cadet with National Gas Shipping Company Ltd (NGSCO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of ADNOC in 1996, and rose to become the first UAE National Master on an LNG carrier in 2008.

Captain Al Ali was the Senior Vice President Ship Management at ADNOC Logistics and Services (L&S) since 2013. In his previous role at ADNOC L&S, he was overseeing the operations of ADNOC L&S’ shipping fleet, including LNG and LPG carriers and oil tankers as well as chemical, Sulphur and dry bulk carriers and containers. He spearheaded a number of joint energy efficiency and optimization projects.

Captain Al Ali holds an Executive Master Degree in Business Administration from Zayed University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Business and Management from John Moores University in Liverpool, UK and Professional Doctorate in Maritime Industries from European International University in Paris.

A marine engineer and degree in engineering by background, the ALBWARDY DAMEN Managing Director has had a varied career including spells working for shipping lines, and at power plants. The majority of his career he spent with tug and off shore company Svitzer as Chief Operating Officer. Clearly as happy in coveralls and a hard hat as he is in a tailored suit. He has been 15 years in the UAE and the Dane took over the helm at ALBWARDY DAMEN in January 2013.

Spyridon Lalaounis heads the New Build Department at Bahri. He is a Chartered Engineer in the UK and EU Engineering Councils and holds a Fellowship with the Royal Institute of Naval Architects (RINA). With 20+ years of professional experience, Spyridon is responsible for all new construction project within Bahri Group. Under his leadership, his team has successfully delivered 40% of Bahri’s total fleet – this includes 11 - VLCCs, 10 - 55K Chemical Carriers, 9 - 82K Bulk Carriers and 6 Multi-purpose Ro-Con Vessels. Currently, Spyridon is concentrating on new technologies and alternative fuels that can be implemented in future new build vessels or can be retrofitted in Bahri’s existing fleet.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Naval Architecture and Small Craft Engineering and two Masters of Science (MSc) degrees - Marine Engineering and Business Information Technology Systems. Prior joining Bahri in 2011, he has held several senior positions in leading ship organizations such as Teekay Shipping Corporation and Anglo-Eastern Group, successfully completing various projects in Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Souren is also Vice President at Aurora Offshore, a ship owner and manager in the offshore segment in the Middle East. Additionally, Souren serves as a Director at Mag Container Lines, an integrated shipping and logistics provider in the UAE. Previously, Souren worked at the Reederei Nord Group and at Almi Tankers. He graduated from Bayes (formerly Cass) Business School with a distinction in MSc Shipping, Trade & Finance and holds a first-class honours in Bachelors of Sciences from the University of Durham.

He has served in various sectors, including capital project logistics, oil and gas, chemicals, marine services, agriculture, pharmalogistics, and defense sector logistics, both in the UAE and globally

After a successful career at Agility Global Integrated Logistics (GIL), where he rose to the position of Chief Operating Officer & VP projects MEA, Mohammad Jaber continued his journey at DSV as Managing Director for DSV Air & Sea Division in Abu Dhabi when the company acquired Agility's (GIL) business in August 2021. This acquisition made DSV one of the world's top three freight forwarders.

Innovations today drives a lot of the positive change on the industry, where Mohammad contributing on supply chain and logistics sector through leading the logistics working group in Abu Dhabi chamber, further driving within DSV Abu Dhabi many initiatives in sustainability like EV trucks, Drones, and many carbon emissions reduction initiatives
